It’s easy to look at leaders in various positions and forget that they are fallible people just like us. This can lead us to unreasonable, even if completely unconscious, expectations from people in leadership, and bitter disappointment and feelings of betrayal when they turn out to not be infallible after all. Minister Rene Grigori leads the panel in a discussion about reframing our perception of failure: understanding how failures can lead to learning and future success, as well as simply being more accepting of the failures of others just as we would want others to accept our own.
