Led by: Minister Penemue

Minister Penemue leads a discussion about the third tenet and transhumanism: the idea that technology can be used to evolve humans beyond their current physical and mental states. The discussion touches upon the connection between transhumanism and bodily autonomy, the notion of “self” and how we understand our relation to our own body, and some of the risks of transhumanist technology, for example: ways in which such technology could be leveraged (intentionally or unintentionally) by people who want to erase social and cultural difference in order to attain some type of “ultimate” societal standard.
